Darius Slay was given a strange reward for his heroic touchdown against Detroit

Darius Slay has been having a great season so far. While the Eagles have endured their fair share of volatility, Slay has been one of the few constants on the team, punching in strong outing after strong outing. A touchdown against the team that drafted him served as a great reward, but it’s not the only one he’ll get.

The Pat McAfee show runs a segment each week to recognize the NFL player who scores the most exciting “untouched” touchdown. Darius Slay’s scoop and score won the Twitter vote for the week 8 slate of games and as a result, the Eagles cornerback will be given a Soft Spa 9500 Bidet from Fluidmaster.

Why? No idea.

The good news is that you can actually enter to win a Soft Spa 9500 bidet of your own simply by tweeting Darius Slay with the hashtag #PMSUntouched. Tweeting an Eagles cornerback about bidets with the chance to win a bidet? Maybe we are living inside a simulation after all, but I don’t want to stop now!

On a more serious note, it’s great to see Slay being recognized for the season he’s having. After a slightly disappointing 2020 season, Big-play Slay is living up to his name once again. He’s given up fewer than 20 yards in 5 of the 8 games he’s played in this season, and has a pair of interceptions to his name. He’s also PFF’s fourth-highest graded CB so far.

Hopefully Slay can continue to wash away the tears of receivers who struggle to get separation in his brand new Bidet!
