In what was a disappointing afternoon at the Linc, seeing Brandon Graham carted off the field is what will sting the most for many. Unfortunately, according to Derrick Gunn, he could be out for the season with a torn Achilles.

This is gut-wrenching for the Eagles. You won’t find a more vocal leader and he’s a player that the team have constantly been able to find production from at defensive end. Coming off of a pro-bowl season, Graham signed a new contract this offseason. It’s heartbreaking to see his season come to an end like this.

Brandon Graham owns the franchise record for most games played by a defensive lineman (157). His 59 career sacks currently rank him fourth in Eagles history, with 8.5 of them coming during a rampant start to the 2020 campaign.

In his place, newly-extended Josh Sweat will likely be elevated to the primary EDGE role opposite Derek Barnett, while Tarron Jackson will see an increase in snaps. Milton Williams could also be a factor coming off the edge, with the team adamant to use his versatility.

Stay tuned for more updates and post-game analysis.
