When the sports world shut down on March 11th due to the Coronavirus outbreak, one of the questions being asked was which of the major sports would be the first to return. On April 24th, Sports fans would get some good news, with UFC being the first to take the plunge. This is the first of three straight UFC events to be held in Jacksonville FLA with no fans

UFC President Dana White would give his thoughts on the main event which is for the Interm lightweight title as Tony Ferguson takes on Justin Gaethje.

The entire card for UFC 249 is expected to have fireworks, the Prelims will be live on ESPN on Saturday at 6PM, the main card will be LIVE on ESPN+ PPV at 10PM

The Main event on the prelims on ESPN is a rematch that is 7 years in the making as Anthony Pettis takes on Donald Cerrone. Pettis defeated Cerrone by TKO in the first round of their first fight which happened in 2013.
