The Eagles are a playoff team. It seemed unlikely a few weeks ago, but Philadelphia has its eyes on making some noise against Seattle next week. But once their playoff run, however long that lasts, comes to an end, they have quite the battle ahead. Their 2020 opponents have been confirmed and it’s safe to say this schedule is a lot tougher than last this year’s…
HOME GAMES
New Orleans Saints
Seattle Seahawks
Los Angeles Rams
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Dallas Cowboys
Washington Redskins
New York Giants
AWAY GAMES
Green Bay Packers
San Francisco 49ers
Arizona Cardinals
Pittsburgh Steelers
Cleveland Browns
Dallas Cowboys
Washington Redskins
New York Giants
The Eagles struggled to take advantage of a ridiculously easy schedule this year for a plethora of reasons, but they won’t be afforded those second-chances next year.
Seattle will either come to the Linc seeking revenge or living in the heads of Eagles fans rent-free, whilst a game against the Ravens promises to be an explosive matchup between two of the league’s best young quarterbacks.
Outside of divisional games and a matchup against the Bengals, it’s aa horrifying schedule on the surface. Facing the Packers, Niners, and Steelers on the road doesn’t do much to change that, either.
It’s early days and a lot can change between now and then, but the schedule doesn’t look anywhere near as salivating as 2019’s. The Eagles will need as many players back to full health as possible if they’re to clinch a second consecutive NFC East title.
