Philadelphia: Before the start of any season, there are those that predict what your season will be and some of the national media outs think the Eagles will have a good shot of going deep and even make the Super Bowl.

Joe Tessitore is the lead announcer for Top Rank Boxing on ESPN & Voice of ESPN Monday Night Football, this past weekend, he was in Philadelphia calling the Jason Sosa vs Lydell Rhodes fight from Temple University. Following the fight, Philly Sports Network had the opportunity to speak to Joe Tessitore and get his take on what to expect from the 2019 Philadelphia Eagles.

About the team:
Joe Tessitore:  “A very talented Roster, and the way the NFC east shapes up, you’re going to have this battle, clash of the titans between Philadelphia & Dallas, You’re going to have to stay healthy at QB now especially since what just happened with Nate Sudfeld”

“Offensive line is still what it has been, Defensive front still very talented, love what they did at Wide receiver in free agency & the draft, picking JJ Arcega-Whiteside and bringing back DeSean Jackson”

“The young running back is going to be good, you’re going to be talking about a championship level team that depending on how the two games against Dallas go, will swing the division one way”

The rest of the NFC:
Joe Tessitore:” I think the NFC is absolutely LOADED, you have teams in the NFC that are division & super bowl contenders:

Minnesota is a bounce back team
Atlanta is a bouncheback team
Green Bay is a bounce back team
The NFC is LOADED”

Can the Eagles make a Super Bowl Run?
Joe Tessitore “ You got to stay healthy, that is the whole thing, if Philadelphia stays healthy, there is no reason why you’re not sitting there contending for a championship again but a lot of teams in the NFC are able to make that claim, There is a lot to be happy about if you’re an Eagles fan , but they’ve GOT TO STAY HEALTHY”

The Eagles will be on Monday Night Football this season on December 9 when they  take on the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field.
