Another Developmental Camp opens, and that means getting “back to school” for these young prospects of the Philadelphia Flyers. Developmental Camp is always anticipated by the fans, and this affords them the opportunity to see their young beloved Flyers on the ice once again before training camp begins in the Fall. Without further delay, here are the prospects answers to your questions.
Cam York
“There’s always some type of pressure, but I’m very happy to be a part of this city, and this classy organization. It’s going to be fun and trying, but I think the fans will like my game. Gritty he’s a beaut (Laughing), he’s beautiful.”
Isaac Ratcliffe
“It’s the same amount of pressure, as it’s been the previous years. I haven’t begun to process making the Flyers team, following our season at the Guelph. Fans are great here in Philadelphia, and I look forward to playing for them.”
Adam Ginning
“Swedish Rappers- Yung Lean, Petter, Mwuana, and Timbuktu.”
Samuel Ersson
“Swedish Rap- Yung Lean, Mwuana (Laughing), good question (Laughing).“
Noah Cates
“Now it’s the summer I like country. Zack Brown Band, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line (Laughing). During the season I like stuff like EDM (Blasi), it’s like rock.”
Jackson Cates
“Country (Laughing). I Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt.”
The prospects loved this question. They were laughing, it really made them feel good. Great question.
Noah Cates
“Business, and Business management.”
Jackson Cates
“Business, I haven’t officially declared yet, but I’m leaning more towards business management (Laughing).”
Wade Allison
“I feel like I’m 85% right now. The doctors said it would take 2 years to return back to 100%, so were in the 17th month now. We’re cutting it close for the start of the season, but we will see. I feel good now though. I am open to signing with the Flyers one day, I can’t say what they are thinking. Just take it day by day.”
I did not ask Allison your question. He was engaged talking about his future with the Flyers, and his injuries from this past season.
“Mikael Granlund. He’s a great skater, good with the puck, and he’s great on the man advantage. Obviously, it’s a huge honor to play for Team Canada, and being drafted by the Flyers. You can’t compare the 2, it’s an honor and a privilege to play for your home country.”
Morgan Frost looks like he’s in the best shape of his life. He added muscle from the prior Developmental Camp, and Rookie Camp. It’s very noticeable. Frost did say he was working on his acceleration, and it begins with his first step.
All of the prospects were very happy and seemed very excited to be at this camp. They were all having fun it appeared. It was great to be a part of this once again, and let’s go Flyers. Thanks for the questions.
