Dannell Ellerbe was absent due to a hamstring injury, but this is something that also plagued him last week. The former Saints linebacker registered two tackles against the Falcons, plugging the holes as an efficient run-stopper. Rest is the best cure for a hamstring injury so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Ellerbe miss some more time ahead of Sunday, with his status ultimately being questionable.

The good news is that rookie cornerback Sidney Jones returned to action after missing time last week due to a hammy injury of his own. Jones had his NFL debut cut short with cramps and missed some practice time after the game due to a hamstring setback. It’s unclear how much playing time Jones would see if he is able to play, especially given the magnitude of the game…but it’s certainly worth noting nonetheless.

Aside from that, the Eagles appear as healthy as they can be…which is always a good sign.
