The final regular season game of the 2017-18 season is upon us. For the Eagles, that means playing host to their most hated rivals. There may not be much on the line in way of playoff consequences, but can the Eagles move to 14-2 for the first time in NFL history?

Liam “Cup of Tea” Jenkins: 13-1
The Eagles may be resting starters or rotating more than usual, but make no mistake…this is a grudge match. The tables were flipped one year ago and now it’s the Birds in total NFC East domination. With a chance to set a historic 14-2 record and remain undefeated at home, this is a big game for the Eagles, regardless of the lack of weight behind the outcome. Expect the Birds to play hard throughout, overthrowing Dallas to cap off an incredible year.

Brenden “my picks are” Pedigree 5-2
As a surprise to the majority, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson told the media that most of the starters will play in Sunday’s regular season finale against the Cowboys. With the number one seed locked up, I don’t expect to see the Eagles starters for more than a half.

The big thing to watch in today’s game will be the debut of second-round pick Sidney Jones. If I’m defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, I’m putting him on wide receiver Dez Bryant and seeing how he fares. In a meaningless game, why not?

I could see a high volume of passes for Nick Foles after a lackluster outing against the Raiders on Christmas Day. With the bye week in the wild card round of the playoffs, the main thing is getting the guys in rhythm and everyone getting out healthy.

I think the Eagles have enough in their starters and backups to defeat the impending dumpster fire that is the football team from Arlington, Texas. 14-2 on the season, 6-0 in the division!

In a game that doesn’t mean much, I expect Zeke Elliott to have a huge game today and take over for the Cowboys.
