The Eagles have released their list of seven inactives ahead of this evening’s clash with the Oakland Raiders. It’s been a strange week of injuries for the Birds, but the good news is that they appear to be leaving that behind them.

WR Gibson, WR Johnson, DE Means, DT Qualls, RB Smallwood, LB Walker, G Wisniewski

Most notably, Steven Wisniewski is inactive. This will be the second week in a row that the left guard has missed a game and with the notorious Kahlil Mack just around the corner, the Eagles offensive line may be a little shaken. Isaac Seumalo will step in and Chance Warmack will likely rotate too, with the latter also appearing on the injury list last week.

The amazing news for the Eagles is that both Jalen Mills and Patrick Robinson are indeed active. Robinson is out of concussion protocol and after Jalen Mills was limited throughout the week, having their starting corner in action against Amari Cooper will be crucial. On that note, Rasul Douglas is also active after being a healthy scratch last week, a move that signifies an insurance policy for the Birds.

Derek Barnett is also fully healthy, meaning that Steven Means will join Eliah Qualls on the sidelines. Unfortunately, Joe Walker is still absent which means we will see a lot more of Najee Goode and Kamu Grugier-Hill along with 5-DB formations.

Marcus Johnson, Shelton Gibson and Wendell Smallwood are all healthy scratches.
