It hasn’t taken long for the Eagles to begin the medical process in helping Carson Wentz back to full health. Just days after tearing his ACL against the Rams, Wentz has already undergone surgery according to Chris Mortensen.
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz underwent surgery to repair his ACL this morning by Dr. James Bradley, an orthopedic knee specialist who is based in Pittsburgh, per sources. No other details yet.

Dr. James Bradley, an orthopedic knee specialist who is also the team doctor for the Steelers, was reportedly the one who carried out the procedure. It seems a little quick for Wentz to be subjected to surgery just days after sustaining it as usually it takes a few days for the swelling to go down. However, if Wentz, the team and Dr. Bradley all felt confident that the time was right, then there would be no reason to wait.
The rehabbing process officially begins today for Carson Wentz. After leading the Eagles to an 11-2 record, throwing for 3,296 yards and 33 touchdowns, the Eagles quarterback now faces a very different challenge.
