The Eagles made it official. Star tight end Zach Ertz will indeed miss this afternoon’s fixture against the Rams due to a concussion.
#PHIvsLA Inactives: T Beatty, TE Ertz, WR Johnson, DT Qualls, RB Smallwood, QB Sudfeld, LB Walker

Leading the team with seven touchdowns, the Eagles will undoubtedly miss Ertz when lining up against the tenacious Rams defense. In his place, expect Trey Burton, who put up 42 yards when Ertz left the Seahawks game last week, to step up to the plate.
Joe Walker will miss his second consecutive game due to a neck stinger, so expect Najee Goode and Dannell Ellerbe to take over the MLB reins.
Will Beatty remains inactive as he has since signing with the team a few weeks ago, while Elijah Qualls is also inactive. This of course means Destiny Vaeao has overcome his injury and will play in his sixth game as an Eagle this season.
Wendell Smallwood and Marcus Johnson are the other two player who won’t suit up against the Rams, with depth at those positions more than enough to carry the team through.
