According to a press release from the NFL, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz leads all players in balloting for the 2018 Pro Bowl.
With 273,367 votes to his names, the stunning emergence of the second-year quarterback has captivated the nation. Wentz is ahead of Tom Brady (239,989 votes), Le’Veon Bell (227,771 votes), Todd Gurley (215,687 votes) and Antonio Brown (215,584 votes).
Carson Wentz leads the NFL in touchdown passes this year after throwing another two against the Dallas Cowboys. With 25 touchdowns and just 5 interceptions this season, Wentz has become one of the league’s biggest stars.
The Eagles have finally found their franchise quarterback. After a rookie season of promise and an offseason that showed relentless work ethic and dedication to improvement, Wentz and the Eagles are reaping the rewards of one of the most stable and successful franchises in the league this year. From a quarterback centric coaching tree to a flurry of offensive talent, the Eagles are blowing the minds of everybody this season…and while individual accolades are the last thing on the mind of Wentz, there is no doubting that he is deserving of such an honor in just his second season.
