Ronald Darby is still limited in practice in what is his third week back working with the team. The goal, as reiterated by Doug Pederson is to get Darby doing more “football things. While the hopes were that he would be ready for the clash against Denver this weekend, the Eagles still don’t want to rush the progress of their number one cornerback, who is recovering from an ankle injury.

Encouragingly, Patrick Robinson was a full participant in practice today. The team’s nickel cornerback who has had an outstanding year, left the Niners game early due to a concussion. It seems as if he’s cleared protocol or at least practicing with the team as if he’s preparing today. A strong sign for the Eagles secondary.

Other than that, the Eagles are back to a clean bill of health aside from the injuries to the recently IR placed Jordan Hicks, and Jason Peters. The defensive line is raring to go after a nice stretch of home games and the Birds’ are still waiting for a much needed bye-week to recover fully. But to be this healthy (only two season-ending injuries) half way into the season, it’s a very good sign for a team vying for a number one seed.
