The Eagles have announced their inactives for this afternoon’s clash against Kansas City. One name not among them however is rookie cornerback Rasul Douglas. Here’s the full list of inactives along with some analysis.

Ronald Darby is out due to his ankle injury, but interestingly the Eagles have gone much heavier at the position. After only three corners were listed as active last week, both Dexter McDougle and Rasul Douglas will make their Eagles debuts against the Chiefs.

Shelton Gibson still remains waiting in the wing for his first taste of NFL action along with fellow wideout Marcus Johnson. The Eagles have no need to plunge into WR depth after the starters opened up the Offense last week in a way that was previously unseen for Pederson’s Offense.

Destiny Vaeao is nursing an injury which means rookie DT Elijah Qualls will also make his debut. The pass-rusher impressed during Training Camp and could see a fair amount of action if last week’s rotation was anything to go by.

The final inactive is Chance Warmack, who is inactive for the second week in a row despite signing an extension prior to the start of the regular season.
