A Flyers Fan’s whistle-stop guide to Training Camp: 2017 edition


The Philadelphia Flyers have re-invented themselves in a matter of a season. There is no secret that the Flyers are stockpiled with some bull-dog prospects that are chomping at the bit to make the big club. Some proud prospects will make the roster this fall. Finally, Flyers Training Camp is upon us. The proud orange clad fans are pumped and ready for training camp to get underway. Here is a whistle stop guide to the 2017 Flyers training camp that opens on Friday, September 15th at 9:45 am sharp.


Friday, September 15:

Group 1: 9:45 am- 11:30 am

Group 2: 1:15 pm – 3:00 pm


Saturday, September 16:

Group 1: 9:45 am- 11:30 am

Group 2: 1:15 pm – 3:00 pm


Sunday, September 17:

Group 1: 10:15 am – 12 pm

Group 2: 11:45 am – 1:30 pm

Preseason Opener against the New York Islanders


Monday, September 18:

Group 1: 9:45 am- 11:30 am

Group 2: 1:15 pm – 3:00 pm


Tuesday, September 19:

Group 1: 9:45 am – 11:30 am

Group 2: 1:15 pm – 3:00 pm


Key Prospect Positional Battles:

Forwards (Possibly 2 spots)- Cole Bardreau, Taylor Leier, Danick Martel, Oskar Lindblom, Colin Mcdonald, Nolan Patrick, and Mike Vecchione

Defense (2 spots)- Travis Sanheim, Robert Hagg, Samuel Morin, and Philippe Myers
