They say that there’s no such thing as an offseason for professional athletes..and Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is no exception. A photo from Rep 1 Sports shows the former NDSU standout working out with wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Chad Hensen.

The trio of players are all represented by Rep 1 Sports, but this isn’t the first time that Kupp has been linked with Carson Wentz. A stunning week at the Senior Bowl and an resonation with “AO1” saw the Eastern Washington wideout draw plenty of attention from the Philadelphia media. He did nothing but build excitement that week, after breaking countless college records. Kupp ended his college career with 428 receptions for 6,464 yards and 73 touchdowns and showed the same level of brilliance throughout the Senior Bowl practices. During that week, Kupp also expressed his desire to work with the Eagles signal caller.

“I haven’t had an opportunity to meet Carson yet,” Kupp said on Tuesday afternoon, after the North squad wrapped up practice. “I’m really excited to. Hopefully, he’ll come back and we’ll get to train a little bit this offseason. But I just like what he stands for. He’s a guy that’s very vocal about his faith, as am I.

Cal wideout, Chad Hansen on the other hand is looking to throw the Cat amongst the Pigeons. A former Idaho State receiver, Hansen transferred to Cal where he broke out in his senior season with 92 receptions, 1,249 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The 6’2, 190 pounds, receiver defines explosiveness and currently ranks fifth in WR prospects. Daniel Jeremiah has Hansen ranked 48th overall.

The Eagles could well be looking to strengthen their receiving corps through the draft this year..could this be a sign of things to come? If that is the case, the fact that a rapport is already being built is extremely encouraging..
