This is the first we’ve heard of the supposed workout, but it isn’t all that surprising, if true. Dobson was picked 59th overall in the 2013 Draft and looked dangerous. At 6’3 and 205-pounds, Dobson looked to be a receiver who could make a play when needed and bring down tough catches.
In 2015 however, Dobson only played in 8 games, receiving for 141 yards. His lack of consistency and proneness to injury saw him fall down the depth chart and eventually off of it, as he was waived during the roster cuts.
The news comes just days after Dobson reportedly worked out for the Jets. Despite clearing waivers, Dobson appears to be a potential candidate for a few NFL teams lacking at WR.

The Eagles rolled into week one with questions of their own at WR, but came out of it with two receiving touchdowns, 100 receiving yards for Jordan Matthews and a confidence that was almost invisible at times during 2015.
Whether anything will come of this workout remains to be seen, the Eagles still have Paul Turner on the practice squad and UDFA Bryce Treggs on the 53-man roster who until today was yet to practice with the team.
Dobson does have an appeal, but is it an appeal worth pursuing for the Eagles if the report is indeed true?
