The Eagles have made a roster move ahead of tomorrow’s season opener, bolstering their roster to 53. Linebacker Najee Goode, who was waived by the team during the roster cuts has been re-signed by the Eagles.

With the Eagles having just four linebackers on their roster heading into the regular season, re-signing Goode, who has predominantly been a special teamer during his time in Philadelphia is a very good move.
The release of Goode was surprising, but with the veteran linebacker re-signed, the Eagles roster is officially at 53 ahead of tomorrow’s opener against Cleveland.
The 27-year old is back in Philadelphia after spending the last three seasons with the Eagles and will add some depth at a position that seriously craves it.
