They may have only just signed Stephen Tulloch and Dorial Green-Beckham, but the Eagles are by no means finished when it comes to improving their team ahead of the 2016 season. In fact, they may only be just getting started if two recent reports are to be believed.

Jason La Canfora has reported that the Eagles have been shopping former Oregon Duck Taylor Hart, a Defensive End who has been relatively impressive in preseason so far..but is in a positional battle with Destiny Vaeao and Aziz Shittu along with Beau Allen.

Not only that, but La Canfora wrote some very interesting words about what the Eagles may be looking for, earlier today:

“…The Eagles were looking for linebackers for a while before settling on signing free agent Stephen Tulloch. They’ve also been sniffing around on corners, and other general managers get the sense that Roseman is always working the trade angle and trying to see who could become available.”

That in itself is intriguing considering the amount of rookies and sophomore players currently competing for roster spots at Cornerback, not to mention the additions of Leodis McKelvin and Ron Brooks.

Are the Eagles eyeing up anyone in particular? It’s too soon to say, but what we do know is that their recent criteria is more than a coincidence:

That move for Dorial Green-Beckham is just a portal into Roseman’s thinking there — looking for recent draft picks from other teams who haven’t panned out who could fill a position of need in Philly and are young and cheap labor.

So, by connecting the dots, could the Eagles..like trading away backup Dennis Kelly for DGB, be looking to trade Taylor Hart for a second/third year player who hasn’t had the best start to his NFL career? It’s entirely possible.

The Eagles are said to be very active in the trade market and could be primed for a few surprising moves in the coming weeks..Roseman means business.
