The Eagles Linebacker depth has taken another big blow if Les Bowen’s report is correct. Seventh round pick Joe Walker has had an impressive Training camp and preseason campaign, but after sustaining an injury in last night’s game, the reports have come back presenting a worst case scenario.

The former Oregon Duck was set to be an integral part of the Eagles Linebacker depth in 2016 and instead will miss his rookie campaign in its entirety.

The Eagles have been reported to be looking at trade options to add to their LB corps and it goes without saying that the enticement of signing Stephen Tulloch is becoming ever greater.

It’s also key to note that cornerback Aaron Grymes may well miss the rest of preseason after injuring his shoulder on that stunning interception against the Steelers. This not only adds fuel to the fire in an ongoing cornerback position battle, but hurts the former CFL star’s chances of making the final 53-man roster.
