The Eagles face the Browns in the opening game of the regular season..and RGIII will be the first quarterback to come up against this revamped Eagles Defense. Jim Schwartz’s first test as the Eagles Defensive Coordinator will be containing the dual-threat QB and shutting him down.
The 26-year old and former second overall pick was signed by the Browns after missing all of the 2015 season due to the emergence of Kirk Cousins. One fumble in week two of pre-season put the nail in the coffin and cost RGIII his 2015 campaign. After picking up a concussion, the Redskins called upon Cousins to lead the team..and he went on to take them to the playoffs in what was a big individual year.
Now, facing an old foe as a Cleveland Brown, RGIII faces a new challenge..overcoming the ruthless Eagles Defense.
