After meeting with 26-year old wideout Chris Givens, the Philadelphia Eagles officially announced that they have signed him to a one year deal.

The 6″0 receiver was drafted by the Rams back in 2012 and of course that means he is already familiar with Quarterback Sam Bradford. Givens was later traded to the Ravens and has played 60 games since arriving in the NFL, amassing 1,779 yards and five touchdowns on 107 receptions. He also received for a career high 710 yards in 2012.
Givens is able to burst down the seam with great speed and has an almost identical time in the 40 yard dash to last years first round pick Nelson Agholor. It’s not the “star” they need, but it’s another weapon for Sam Bradford to utilise, a familiar face to the Quarterback and a receiver who brings a lot of NFL experience from various different systems.
