The Eagles have had a promising off-season so far, securing the long term futures of both Brent Celek and Zach Ertz whilst also extending Lane Johnson and Vinny Curry. Today, that trend continues as the team announce a new five-year contract for Safety Malcolm Jenkins.

Jenkins enjoyed a career season in 2015, racking up 109 tackles as well as forcing 3 fumbles and intercepting 2 passes. The season earned him a pro-bowl nod and now a new contract. The 28 year old will be entering his ninth season in the NFL and his third in Philadelphia next season..and under Jim Schwartz it may well be his best yet.
