It’s been a busy day for the Philadelphia Eagles and the trend is set to continue as the birds reportedly have added to their Secondary depth by signing CFL standout Aaron Grymes according to Adam Caplan.

Grymes had 8 interceptions during his three year career in the CFL, with 4 of them coming in 2015. According to Bleacher Report he ran a 4.6 40-yard dash time in 2013. The Edmonton Eskimos defensive back recorded 101 tackles during his time with the Eskimos with 43 coming in his career year in 2015.

Formerly of Idaho College, Grymes worked out with the Cardinals and the Titans back in January, eventually landing in Philadelphia.

Here’s some more information on Grymes courtesy of NFLdraftscout.com

Whilst the signing of a CFL player is surprising, the signing of a corner shouldn’t be. With Carroll, Biggers and Thurmond all set to hit free agency, the Eagles are very low on depth at the position. If Biggers and Carroll were to walk into Free Agency, only Maxwell would have played more than one season in the NFL so it’s nice to see some depth being added for OTA evaluation nice and early.
