When it was announced that the Eagles would be hiring a new “Head of Player Personnel”, many assumed that the role would be Roseman’s for the taking..but according to a report by Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Eagles have been granted permission to interview their first candidate..

Brandon Hunt was hired by the Steelers as their Pro Scout Coordinator back in 2010 but was actually with the team as early as 2005. Hunt assisted in both the scouting for College and Pro players and was also a member of the team that lifted the franchises fifth Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XL. After spending two years as an intern in the player personnel department, Hunt left the Steelers for a Pro Scout position with the Houston Texans.

It’s still unclear as to when the interview will take place, but it appears as though the process of finding the missing link for a group position that will effectively replace the GM role has officially begun.
