The Rams recently requested to interview Shurmur for their current Offensive Coordinator vacancy but now Shurmur is completely free to test the waters of available positions, there is a strong likelihood of the former Browns Head Coach finding a new home within the next few days/weeks..potentially a reunion with Chip Kelly?
Both Rick Minter and Bill McGovern have been linebacker coaches with the Eagles since 2013 and with Schwartz already finding a new DB’s assistant, it’s hardly surprising to see so many personnel moves happening so quickly. We speculated that the Eagles would be looking to make between 3-5 personnel changes in the coming weeks, they’ve almost reached that in just a few days!
It’s unclear who the replacements are going to be but a good bet would be Ken Flajole. The former Rams Defensive Coordinator was signed to a currently unnamed position according to reports but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him coach the Linebackers.
