It was a perfect day for former Eagles Coach Andy Reid as his Kansas City Chiefs stormed to a 30-0 win over the Houstan Texans..well, almost perfect. Former Eagle Jeremy Maclin went down with what looked to be a serious injury in the third quarter on a deep route..his face said it all.

Maclin was loved in Philadelphia and many fans would have been watching this game..it’s fair to say that watching Maclin crying on the sideline following an injury was very distressing. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport has just shed a little more information on the severity of the injury.

So whilst serious, it’s not officially torn just yet. The tears could well have been those of circumstance..a huge team win with overwhelming emotion and then such a crucial injury that not only ejects him but could see the former Eagle sidelined for the Chiefs next playoff game..we can only imagine what would have been going through his head.

Hopefully J-Mac is back on the field soon and if the Chiefs do make it all the way…is ready to play in the biggest game of his career, it would be a terrible shame if he missed that kind of opportunity.
