The latest chapter in an ever evolving storyline sees NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reveal that the Eagles have already looked at the College ranks again…or at least one coach.

Per Rapoport, the birds have pursued Texas A&M Coach Kevin Sumlin who stated that he wants to stay in College.

Sumlin, who coached Johnny Manziel to his Heisman also took Texas to the Southeastern Conference in his first season as a Head Coach. With a 77-33 record and 4-2 in Bowls, it’s clear that he has pedigree and plenty of experience at the College level. The Eagles were smart to take a look..it just seems as though he wasn’t interested.
