It might well be a meaningless game in terms of the post-season but there’s still a lot that hangs in the balance here as the Eagles travel to New York for their final meeting with the Giants. With a 10-5 prediction record, we’re determined to end the year on a high..just as the Eagles will.
3) Bradford unleashed
Sammy B threw for 380 yards, a single touchdown and no picks against a Washington Defense that was ranked 15th overall…he now faces the Defense ranked 32nd in the NFL and one that has conceded 71% of their 6290 yards through the air. It was fair to say that Bradford was very angry on the field last Sunday and if he can carry that leadership and passion into the final game (which could well be an audition for his future in Philly) then he could well have a career game.
We’re predicting that Bradford will through 3 touchdowns, pick up a season high 400 yards and no interceptions.
2) Secondary Slump
There’s been a lot of pressure on Billy Davis all season and with Chip now gone even he has admitted to feeling that he could be next. In what could be his final game we’re expecting Davis to take this short handed Secondary and once again force the Giants into a low scoring affair when throwing down the field. We’re predicting the Eagles to give up less than 250 passing yards and 2 passing touchdowns or less..none of which going to Odell Beckham Jr.
1) Everything you’ve got
Jeffery Lurie has apparently met with the players numerous times since the firing of Chip Kelly and if these meetings are anything like the last then we could have 53 very angry men on the field. This bodes well for an Eagles linebackers who have considerably out of touch all season long. From Kiko’s woes to an inconsistent Barwin, the injury of Hicks to high hopes/ low production of Brandon Graham. Our final prediction is that the unit finally comes together, racking up 4 sacks and allowing no more than 80 rushing yards.
