The Eagles saw their playoff hopes crash and burn last night and if there’s one part of the team that’s been as inconsistent as their season then it’s the Offensive Line. Pro Bowler Jason Peters has been battling injury all season and on the second drive against the Redskins appeared to take another potential injury inflicting hit. He returned to the game and that appeared to be the end of it…

Until the final quarter when the Redskins began to put the nail in the coffin..when this happened.

It’s easy to see why Bradford was fuming towards the end of the game if this was the mentality shared by others.

This also happened against the Buccaneers and who could forget that very strange “refusing to be a backup” scenario a few weeks back?

With just one more game left it wouldn’t be the biggest shock to see Peters sidelined and potentially spend his last moments in midnight green on the bench. According to BGN the Eagles could save over $6 million by cutting someone who reportedly has a degenerative injury..and with someone of his age it does make you wonder just how much longer he can go on.
