The news just doesn’t stop coming tonight does it?! According to Bleeding Green Nation, the Philadelphia Eagles have waived linebacker Emmanuel Acho and replaced him with practice squad wide receiver Jonathan Krause.
Acho was only called back two weeks ago after announcing it himself on twitter. But with Kendricks, Alonso and Ryans all back to 100%, the need for an inside linebacker has somewhat diminished.
The Krause move certainly comes as a surprise when you look at how many receivers the Eagles already have. The undrafted rookie free agent could well play in his first NFL game on Thursday and with the receivers struggling across the board, an extra pair of hands is never a bad thing. Expect him to rotate in for a few special teams snaps and potentially a few Offensive snaps.
