Two Key Eagles players likely to miss Cowboys game

The Eagles could head into their critical showdown with the Cowboys without the help of Defensive Mufasa DeMeco Ryans. The teams defensive leader missed practice for a second straight day after sustaining a hamstring injury and the chances of him playing on Sunday Night are looking significantly lower than they were at the start of the week.

The troubles don’t end there for the Eagles however as joining him on the sidelines was Jason Peters. Peters was carted off during the Panthers game after a non-contact injury and was reported to have back spasms. He has not practiced this week again raising doubts over if he will play this weekend.

This is particularly worrying after Dennis Kelly and Matt Tobin attempted to cover for Peters with limited success. Peters has long been regarded one of the most important players on the Offense and when his leadership and brute force are missing..it’s obvious. The pocket begins to collapse quicker and miscommunication becomes much more regular. Time will only tell if the trends continue on Sunday.

Nelson Agholor and Kiko Alonso have practiced in every session so far this week whilst Ryan Mathews and Mr Suplex City himself Bryan Braman were seen warming up with the team after being limited in yesterdays session.
