The Eagles head to the Bank of America Stadium to face the 5-0 Carolina Panthers in a game where the efficiency of the Offense could be more crucial than ever. Unfortunately for the birds, they could well go into the game with a big disadvantage.
Rookie Nelson Agholor hasn’t practiced with the team since sustaining an injury in week 5 and it’s suspected that his ankle strain may well keep him sidelined up to a few weeks. Luckily, the Eagles have a bye week coming up which takes one out of the equation.
Despite practicing fully on Friday, one of the Eagles most surprising performers Riley Cooper has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game after his knock on Monday Night. Cooper is one of the tougher receivers so whilst we may see limited targets and receptions, he SHOULD feature in the matchup.
Josh Huff is the third man who has some doubts looming over a Sunday appearance after he too picked up an injury against the Giants. Huff is listed as probable however which is a very encouraging sign.
The worst case scenario would see all three receivers sidelined which is unlikely yet possible. Seyi Ajirotutu is likely to get some game time against Carolina and if misfortune does mean that both Huff and Cooper are limited then we may see an appearance from practice squad receiver Freddie Martino.
