Eagles pre-season standout signs with BC Lions

After a huge pre-season, many hoped Eagles wide receiver Rasheed Bailey would make an impact on the team at some stage during the 2015 campaign, but after failing to make the Eagles roster..found himself trying out for various NFL teams.

However, it appears that Bailey took Kelly’s advice and has headed down a different road. Bailey has signed with the BC Lions, a team from the Canadian Football League as a practice squad WR.

The undrafted free agent exploded in pre-season with an early touchdown from Tim Tebow and totalling 100 yards on 10 catches.

Dellaware Valley University, where Bailey studied was the first source to break the story and stated just how impressive he was during his time with the team.

His honours in 2014 included;

 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference
* American Football Coaches Association’s (AFCA) Division III Coaches’ All-America Team
* Associated Press (AP) First Team Little All-America Squad
* Maxwell Football Club Tri-State Player of the Year

We would like to wish Rasheed all the best for the future and hope to see him in Midnight green again someday
