It was announced today that former Philadelphia Eagles heroes Brian Westbrook and Maxie Baughan have been chosen to be inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame this year. The Induction will take place on October 19th at Lincoln Financial Field when the Eagles play host to the New York Giants.
The induction is kind of ironic when you take into account one of Westbrook’s most memorable plays was that punt return against the Giants in 2003!
Westbrook has been regarded as one of the most electrifying players in Eagles history but also one of the classiest whilst Baughan was regarded as one of the top linebackers in the league. He was a nine time Pro Bowler in just ten years which emphasises jut how explosive he was. Two players that symbolise professionalism, class, honour and passion. Everything that makes Philly, Philly. Both are legends in their own right and are very deserving of such a prestigious honour.
