Today is the third day of the Philadelphia Eagles organized training activities (OTAs) and it’s also the first in which the media can attend and film at a practice.
There have been several rumours surrounding newly signed Quarterback Sam Bradford and these OTA’s ,but today they have been made into fact. Bradford has not been present in any OTA so far.
It may not spell complete disaster or symbolise some internal wars with the team, the ex Ram is is still recovering from from surgery he had nine months ago following a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee for the second time in less than a year.
So who has been covering the QB position thus far? Tebow? Nope, Mark Sanchez has been the man leading the offense this week which again opens its own questions.
The media may not get to see Bradford. But they will get to interview Eagles coach Chip Kelly, who is scheduled to meet reporters for the first time since just after the draft.
Newcomers Tim Tebow, DeMarco Murray, Kiko Alonso, Byron Maxwell are among the players that are almost certain to crop up in the interview as well as the ongoing QB enigma
After today, the team have three more OTA’s which are voluntary, June 1-2, June 4, and June 8-11, so whether Sam makes an appearance there or no remains to be seen.
But all we know for now is that Sanchez is in control of the OTA’s and for whatever reason, the man set to replace Foles is a no show.
