Ryan Matthews to partner Sproles in Backfield

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport has reported that experienced back Ryan Mathews has agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles. The deal is to last 3-years and be worth $12M pending physical. Whilst Matthews is anything but invincible when it comes to injury concerns, he is easily one of the hardest-running early-down running backs in the league. He’s the perfect player to pair up with a pass catching back in the draft…or DeMarco Murray?  It’s low on the salary cap an with Kelly’s proven record of helping injury prone players stay healthy, this could be a good investment.
