The Philadelphia Union is back at the top of the MLS following MLS Matchday 30.

Coming into Matchday 31, the Union will have a big Eastern Conference clash with FC Cincinnati. Cincinnati is sitting in second place in the East, just two points behind the Union.

The Union also has a chance to clinch an MLS Cup playoff berth this weekend. There are two different ways that the Union can clinch:

-Win vs FC Cincinnati AND New York Red Bulls loss/draw vs Columbus Crew OR…
-Philadelphia Union draw vs FC Cincinnati AND New York Red Bulls loss vs Columbus Crew

San Diego FC was the first club to clinch a playoff spot last week, and D.C. United was the first club to be eliminated from playoff contention. San Diego will also face LAFC on Saturday night. LAFC sits fifth in the West, three points behind the Seattle Sounders in fourth.

We also have Leagues Cup semi-final action on Sunday! The LA Galaxy will face Orlando City at 5:00 p.m. in the Leagues Cup Third Place Match, while the Seattle Sounders will take on Inter Miami in the Leagues Cup Final at 8:00 p.m.
