The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that the Kelly Green jerseys aren’t just back, but they’re back with a bang.
The recent history following the return of the spectacular colorway has been promising. The Eagles went 2-0 when wearing Kelly Green in 2023, beating both the Dolphins and Bills, before going 2-0 again one year later against the Cowboys and Jaguars.
There’s something cinematic about them. Maybe it’s the heritage, but Saquon’s infamous hurdle took place against the Jags, the Eagles disbanded the Cowboys in week 9, and of course survived the Bills in that overtime masterclass.
This season, it won’t just be the Cowboys who get a taste. The Eagles will put on the legendary jersey against the Commanders, Giants, and even on a road trip against Dallas. The first time we’ll get to see them in action is in week 8 against the Commanders, before a game against the Giants in week 12, and finally closing off the season on the road in Dallas.
Sensational.
Let’s see if they can go 9-0 when wearing the iconic Kelly Green jerseys!
