In what feels like no time, the summer break for the English Premier League is officially over, and the 2025-2026 season is underway today. Matchday 1 will see defending champions Liverpool host Bournemouth at Anfield for the first match of the season, and then it will end with Manchester United hosting Arsenal at Old Trafford. It is an exciting weekend for all supporters worldwide, and it will be interesting to see how this season goes!

New signings will get their official league minutes with their new clubs this weekend, and the Premier League sure had a lot of them. Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo all joined Ruben Amorim’s side at Old Trafford, as the club looks to rebound from last season, where they placed 15th. Arne Slot and Liverpool looked to attempt two consecutive titles as they added Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, and Jeremie Frimpong. Arsenal look to hit the ground running with their new striker, Viktor Gyokeres.

Everyone in the world waits for English Premier League action, and we’ll get a lot of it this weekend. Bring on the season!
