After taking some time off due to the Leagues Cup, MLS league play has resumed. MLS Matchday 28 will feature a jam-packed schedule with matches on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Philadelphia Union are sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference and Supporters’ Shield table heading into Matchday 28. They also made headlines this past week by signing Milan Iloski from FC Nordsjaelland. Earlier this season, Iloski scored four goals in one match for San Diego FC.

San Diego remains the top team out West, but the Vancouver Whitecaps are right behind them. LAFC will most likely be on the rise after signing Son Heung-Min from Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the week. Vancouver also signed Thomas Müller from Bayern Munich during the week to boost its midfield.

There’s nothing better than MLS league play, and we’ll get a whole lot of it this weekend.
