Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey is stepping into the sneaker spotlight with his first official New Balance collection, set to release on July 31st. His colorway collection includes two different models of New Balance: the Hesi Low V2 and the 1906R PE. Since he has been partnered with New Balance, Maxey wears the Hesi Low on the court. The 1906R is more of a lifestyle/running shoe that can be worn off the court.

Maxey’s partnership with New Balance began during the 2023-24 NBA Season, when he was selected as an All-Star for the first time and was awarded the Most Improved Player. Since joining the basketball roster, he has been one of the main faces of the brand, appearing in commercials with NBA players like Kawhi Leonard, Jamal Murray, Zach LaVine, and WNBA star Cameron Brink.

The shoe’s colorway combines icy blue, light blue, and white with a hint of violet. Although not completely similar, it would remind sneaker lovers of the Hesi Low V2 colorway he wore last season to honor his twin nieces.

Maxey wore one pink shoe and one violet shoe, surely standing out on the court. As he continues to ascend as a star in this league, sneakerheads should expect Maxey to continue to get his own colorways. The Hesi Low V2 will retail at $120, while the 1906R will retail at $160.
