Eagles Rookie Ty Robinson turns heads during OTA’s
Philadelphia Eagles’ star defensive tackle Jalen Carter, particularly, has showered high praises on Robinson and spoken so well of his performance in organized team activities. After a recent practice, Jalen Carter was asked about Ty Robinson and his potential, giving a response that was nothing short of impressive.
“You seen him yet? That boy fire, I ain’t even gonna lie,” Carter told reporters after practice. “He’s moving good. He’s a big boy. He’s here and he’s working. I think he’s going to have a big impact this season.”
All-Pro defensive tackle Jalen Carter’s words after six OTA sessions with Robinson, were confirmations of the high opinion Eagles fans building regarding the 111th overall pick in April’s draft
Fans caught a glimpse of his talent through a clip during one of Philly’s recent OTA practices, where he picked up a blocking sled and dispersed of it like a wild Lion before attacking another. He’s not short of power, and that’s something the Eagles now have in abundance on their defensive front.
The 6-foot-6 and 310 pound Ty Robinson started all 13 games in his final year with Nebraska, setting career highs with 37 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 7 sacks.
