After selecting 10 total players in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles quickly shifted their focus to the undrafted free agent market. The Eagles have had plenty of success signing undrafted free agents in recent years, finding players such as Corey Clement, T.J. Edwards, Nate Herbig, Jack Stoll, Reed Blankenship, Josh Jobe, Britain Covey and Eli Ricks.
Now Eagles general manager Howie Roseman will lean heavily on his scouting department to find the next diamond in the rough. While the Eagles addressed several weaknesses in the 2025 NFL Draft, they surprisingly didn’t address a few positions such as running back and tight end.
Considering the depth on Philadelphia’s roster, they are unlikely to attract the top undrafted free agents in 2025. Yet there are still plenty of talented players that could benefit from signing with the Eagles.
Here are the undrafted free agents that have reportedly signed with the Eagles, ranked from highest to lowest, according to NFL Mock Draft Database’s consensus big board!
Hollin Pierce, OL, Rutgers (180)
Despite drafting three offensive linemen in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Eagles were able to land one of the top undrafted free agent offensive linemen. Rutgers offensive lineman Hollin Pierce is a massive offensive tackle at 6’8”, 341 lbs. with 36” arms. He started 24 games at right tackle and 26 games at left tackle during his career at Rutgers. Pierce is the latest student to enroll at Stoutland University in Philadelphia.
Maxen Hook, S, Toledo (211)
The Eagles added a versatile safety in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft in Andrew Mukuba. Now they’ve reportedly made another addition at the position in former Toledo safety Maxen Hook. After finding success with Quinyon Mitchell last season, the Eagles have reunited him with one of his former secondary teammates in Hook. The 23-year-old safety was an enforcer for Toledo’s defense, as he was a team captain and recorded 107 total tackles in 2024.
Montrell Johnson, RB, Florida (292)
Many believed the Eagles were going to add another running back to their backfield during the 2025 NFL Draft. Yet Philadelphia failed to do so and quickly signed two of the best undrafted running backs available. Former Florida running back Montrell Johnson is a violent runner with the size to support his rushing style at 5’11” and 212 lbs. He’ll add more size and power to Philadelphia’s running back room in 2025.
Taylor Morin, WR, Wake Forest (373)
While the Eagles have one of the best wide receiver trios in the NFL, Philadelphia could certainly use some depth at the position. Former Eagles wide receiver and punt returner Britain Covey is still a free agent and former Wake Forest wide receiver Taylor Morin could be his replacement. Morin averaged 17.0 yards per punt return in his final season at Wake Forest, while also hauling in 64 receptions for 756 yards and two touchdowns.
ShunDerrick Powell, RB, Central Arkansas (446)
While Montrell Johnson is a bigger, more powerful runner, former Central Arkansas running back ShunDerrick Powell is quite the opposite. Powell is just 5’7” and 183 lbs., yet he was one of the most explosive running backs in the entire country. He offers much more in the passing game than Johnson does, while also averaging 8.2 yards per carry in his final season at Central Arkansas.
B.J. Mayes, CB, Texas A&M (540)
Former Texas A&M cornerback B.J. Mayes primarily played in the slot in his lone season with the Aggies. According to Pro Football Focus, Mayes allowed just 19 receptions on 35 targets for 224 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions. While Mayes played outside cornerback in previous seasons, he will likely play in the slot at the next level after finding success at the position in 2024.
Brandon Johnson, S, Oregon (N/A)
After spending three seasons at Duke, Brandon Johnson transferred to Oregon and had plenty of success in his lone season with the Ducks. Johnson has primarily played slot cornerback in college, playing 1,629 snaps at the position, according to PFF. Yet according to Johnson’s reported signing with the Eagles, he could play safety in Philadelphia. Johnson played just 121 snaps as a deep safety during his college career.
Lance Dixon, LB, Toledo (N/A)
Former Toledo linebacker Lance Dixon had a lengthy college career. Dixon played for six seasons in college, including stops at Penn State, West Virginia and lastly Toledo in 2024. While Dixon didn’t play with Eagles cornerback Quinton Mitchell at Toledo, he did play with newly signed Eagles safety Maxen Hook. Dixon offers an intriguing blend of size and athleticism that’s worth developing at 6’2”, 224 lbs. with 32 7/8” arms and a 4.58 in the 40-yards dash at Toledo’s pro day.
