The 2025 NFL Draft is near and many are eager to see what the Philadelphia Eagles and general manager Howie Roseman will do during the event. While the NFL Draft is far from an exact science, it’s fun to utilize recent history to discover patterns and trends in a team’s plan. There are two trends that are apparent for the Eagles and Roseman in recent years.
Philadelphia has seemingly placed a high value on prospects that they have hosted on pre-draft visits and prospects that have a Relative Athletic Score (RAS) of 8.00 or higher. Since 2023, nine of Philadelphia’s 16 picks had pre-draft visits with the Eagles. Since 2022, 17 of Philadelphia’s 21 picks had a RAS of 8.00 or higher.
While the Eagles likely use their own in-house metric that is similar to RAS, it’s clear that they value prospects with a rare blend of size and athleticism. Roseman has also talked about the importance of pre-draft visits and how much the franchise values those limited interactions.
Here are 12 prospects that check both of the previously mentioned boxes and are logical targets for the Eagles in the 2025 NFL Draft:
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 8.14
Ezeiruaku has seemingly been tied to the Eagles since Philadelphia won Super Bowl LIX. He’s a Williamstown, NJ native that checks every box off the field as a former team captain. Ezeiruaku also possess the desired length on the edge with 34” arms and an ideal three-cone drill time under seven seconds (6.94). Ezeiruaku should certainly be in play for the Eagles in the first round.

Josh Conerly Jr., OL, Oregon
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 8.84
Conerly has all of the tools to be a starting offensive tackle in the NFL. Yet his lack of play strength could rule out a potential move inside to guard. Conerly was one of the few offensive tackles that was able to shutdown Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter. While Conerly checks all of the boxes at offensive tackle, I question if Philadelphia would invest in an offensive lineman that couldn’t immediately compete for the starting job at right guard.
Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 9.63
Hairston is a freak athlete that put on a show at the NFL Combine. After running a 4.28 in the 40-yard dash with a 39.5” vertical, there is nobody questioning Hairston’s athleticism. While Hairston is undersized at just 183 lbs., he has the makeup to be an immediate starter at outside cornerback opposite of Quinyon Mitchell in Philadelphia.
Donovan Jackson, OL, Ohio State
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 9.00
Jackson showcased his versatility in his final season with the Buckeyes, as he moved from left guard to left tackle after Josh Simmons suffered a season-ending knee injury. Jackson projects as a guard in the NFL, yet his ability to kick outside adds value. He would likely start immediately at right guard for the Eagles and feels like a prospect that Jeff Stoutland would love to work with.
Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 8.37
Amos was a shutdown cornerback for Ole Miss in his first and only season with the Rebels. According to Pro Football Focus, Amos allowed just 280 receiving yards in 515 coverage snaps in 2024. Amos has the desired size to play outside cornerback at the next level and showcased adequate athleticism at the NFL Combine. He would be an ideal fit opposite of Mitchell on the outside in Philadelphia.
T.J. Sanders, IDL, South Carolina
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 9.38
Sanders is a powerful defensive tackle with strong hands. He showcased impressive athleticism at the NFL Combine and his pro day, which certainly improved his stock. Sanders ran the 40-yards dash in 4.95 seconds, while showcasing his explosiveness with a 31.5” vertical jump. Following the departure of Milton Williams in free agency, Sanders would help fill that void along Philadelphia’s defensive line.

Wyatt Milum, OL, West Virginia
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 8.08
Milum is an experienced, starting offensive tackle that is expected to move inside to guard at the next level. Milum plays with a finisher’s mentality and should transition well to the inside. While Milum has an RAS of 8.08 at offensive tackle, his score actually jumps to 9.16 if he’s moved to guard. It’s clear that he possesses the size, athleticism and mindset to compete for the starting job at right guard in Philadelphia.
Jacob Parrish, CB, Kansas State
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 8.82
Parrish is an undersized cornerback but makes up for it with his elite athleticism and aggressive mindset. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds and showcased his explosiveness with a 10’9” broad jump. While many question if Parrish can survive at outside cornerback in the NFL, his route recognition and competitiveness at the catch point will give him a chance. He would fit in well next to Mitchell and Cooper DeJean and add even more versatility to Philadelphia’s secondary.
Jaylen Reed, S, Penn State
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 9.08
Reed stepped up in 2024 as Penn State’s top safety after Kevin Winston Jr. suffered a season-ending knee injury. Reed was utilized in a variety of roles for the Nittany Lions, as he showcased his ability to play in the slot as well. While Reed is too aggressive at times, his versatility and mindset could remind the Eagles of former starting safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
Jalen Travis, OL, Iowa State
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 9.08
Travis started 11 games at left tackle in his first and only season at Iowa State. Travis possesses rare size at 6’8”, 339 lbs. with 34 7/8” arms. While he is viewed as a developmental offensive tackle, Travis seems like the ideal candidate to be the next student at Stoutland University. Nick Sirianni is close friends with Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell and Travis feels like an ideal target for the Eagles on day three.
Kobe King, LB, Penn State
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 8.03
King was a two-year starter for the Nittany Lions as he projects as a limited, yet prototypical inside linebacker at the next level. King is a physical player that excels when he is able to play downhill. King’s impressive closing speed was evident with his impressive 10-yard split of 1.57 seconds. Following Nakobe Dean’s injury, King would add depth to Philadelphia’s linebacker room and immediately contribute on special teams in 2025.
Tyler Baron, EDGE, Miami (FL)
Eagles Pre-Draft Visit: ✅ | Relative Athletic Score: 8.65
Baron transferred to Miami in 2024 after spending four seasons at Tennessee. Baron was a key contributor on Miami’s defense, as he tied for the team lead with 5.5 sacks. At 6’5” and 258 lbs., Baron has the necessary size to play on the edge in the NFL. Yet he turned heads with his impressive 40-yard dash of 4.62 seconds and 35 1/2” vertical. Despite being an older prospect, Baron offers an intriguing blend of size and athleticism as an edge rusher on day three.
