Jalen Hurts just keeps on winning. The Eagles announced on Wednesday morning that the Super Bowl MVP has been named in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025.

It’s genuinely heart-warming to see Hurts finally getting his flowers. Philadelphia fans know just how influential Hurts is on and off the field. As a leader, you could argue that no Eagles QB has had the consistent impact that Hurts has. From his levels of individual focus and drive, to the desire to lift those around him, Hurts has always put the team first.

He demonstrated a selfless drive in 2024 when Saquon Barkley arrived on the scene, which isn’t always easy. We’ve seen before how a change in offensive dynamic can cause rifts between QB’s, their team, and their coaches, but it only made the Birds stronger, culminating in a Super Bowl win.

He carries himself the right way, inspires those around him, and consistently finds ways to empower the local community. His foundation, the Jalen Hurts Foundation, has donated $200,000 to the School District of Philadelphia in order to provide 300 AC units.

Hurts has also been a big advocate of equality and promoting women in sports. His Agent, Nicole Lynn, made history when she became the first black woman to represent an NFL quarterback in the Super Bowl, and did so again when helping negotiate Jalen’s huge five-year contract extension with the Eagles, worth over $255M.

The Oklahoma product continues to lead by example and inspire everyone around him. It’s great to see those remarkable traits that the Eagles QB possesses being praised after a long road to get to this point.

Congratulations, Jalen Hurts!
