Ahead of the season finale, the Philadelphia 76ers announced one final move: the signing of forward Isaiah Mobley. Mobley has spent his entire season with the 76ers’ G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
Mobley, the younger brother of Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Evan Mobley, is a similar two-way archetype with range to his brother, though he is, of course, far less proven. Over the span of 22 G League games, Mobley averaged 17.4 points and 7.9 rebounds.
According to the team’s press release, Mobley will wear No. 25 with the Sixers, last worn by former Sixers shooting guard Lester Quiñones.
