The 2025 NFL Draft is officially two weeks away as the Philadelphia Eagles are putting the finishing touches on their draft board. Every team around the NFL is hustling to host the prospects that they’re interested in on top 30 visits. In recent years, these limited interactions have been key indicators of Philadelphia’s interest in prospects.
Therefore, it’s time for another Eagles mock draft with a unique spin utilizing Philadelphia’s reported visits. In my latest mock draft, the Eagles were only able to select players that have reportedly visited the City of Brotherly Love ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Round 1, Pick 32: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
After selecting Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean to start the 2024 NFL Draft, there’s no way that the Eagles would select a cornerback in the first round this year, right? Wrong! While many believe in Kelee Ringo heading into next season, it seems like Philadelphia has hosted several highly ranked cornerbacks on pre-draft visits. Trey Amos would immediately start outside opposite of Mitchell and solidify Philadelphia’s cornerback trio for the foreseeable future.
Round 2, Pick 64: Shemar Turner, IDL, Texas A&M
Philadelphia’s defensive front took several hits this offseason following the loss of Milton Williams, Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat. Shemar Turner is a versatile defensive lineman that would help ease the impact of those losses. Turner played over 200 snaps at each alignment along the defensive line for the Aggies during his four seasons at Texas A&M, according to Pro Football Focus. Thanks to Turner’s power and aggression, it’s easy to project his fit in Philadelphia.
Round 3: Pick 96: Charles Grant, OL, William & Mary
Despite Lane Johnson signing a contract extension and his willingness to play several more seasons, Philadelphia needs to add his long-term replacement. The Eagles have shown a ton of interest in Charles Grant and it’s easy to see why. At 6’5”, 311 lbs. with 34 3/4” arms, Grant has all of the tools that an NFL team is looking for in an offensive tackle. While there are concerns about the level of competition that Grant has faced at William & Mary, he would benefit from enrolling at Stoutland University.
TRADE! Eagles trade two 2025 fifth-round picks (164 and 165) to the Broncos for a 2025 fourth-round pick (122)

After failing to make a trade in each of the first two nights of the 2025 NFL Draft, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman makes his first deal. Roseman packages two of Philadelphia’s fifth-round picks to move up into the fourth round. It’s reminiscent of the team’s move up to select Jeremiah Trotter Jr. in the 2024 NFL Draft, as Roseman loves to move around the draft board throughout the event.
Round 4, Pick 122: Jaylen Reed, S, Penn State
After trading away C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Roseman moves up to select his potential replacement. Jaylen Reed is a versatile safety that replicates Gardner-Johnson’s skillset in many ways. Reed was a two-year starter for the Nittany Lions and showed plenty of flashes. While Reed is far from a finished product, he would bring much-needed competition to the safety room in Philadelphia.
Round 4, Pick 134: Tyler Baron, EDGE, Miami (FL)
Despite signing Azeez Ojulari and Josh Uche in free agency, Philadelphia needs to make a long-term addition on the edge. Tyler Baron is a proven, older prospect that played over 2,000 snaps during his career at Tennessee and Miami. Baron showed the ability to move inside at Tennessee, which would help replicate Graham’s former role for the Eagles. At 6’5” and 258 lbs. with 88 career snaps in coverage, Baron would add an intriguing skillset to Philadelphia’s edge group.
TRADE! Eagles trade Dallas Goedert to the Colts for a 2025 fifth-round pick (151)

After signing Harrison Bryant and Kylen Granson, it certainly seems like the Eagles are prepping for the potential departure of Dallas Goedert. While many want Goedert to stick around in Philadelphia, his age and lack of guaranteed money in his current contract make him a likely trade candidate. Yet as the offseason continues, his trade value will likely decrease. In this scenario, Goedert is traded to the Colts and reunited with former Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen.
Round 5, Pick 151: Dylan Fairchild, OL, Georgia
After adding several former Georgia Bulldogs on the defense in recent years, Philadelphia finally adds one on offense. Dylan Fairchild started games at both left guard and right guard for the Bulldogs over the last two seasons. At 6’5”, 318 lbs. with 33” arms, Fairchild has the size that Jeff Stoutland looks for along the interior of the offensive line and would potentially compete for the starting job at right guard in 2025.
Round 5, Pick 161: Jaylin Smith, CB, USC
The Eagles continue to add depth to their secondary with the addition of Jaylin Smith on day three. While many might remember Smith for playing on Snoop Dogg’s youth football team on the Netflix show “Coach Snoop,” he was aLos an impact player at USC. Smith served a variety of roles in the Trojans’ secondary, playing snaps at outside cornerback, slot cornerback and safety. Smith would likely fill the void created by Avonte Maddox’s departure, providing depth at several spots in Philadelphia’s secondary.
TRADE! Eagles trade a 2025 fifth-round pick (168) to the Raiders for Michael Mayer
Philadelphia has yet to host any tight end prospects for a pre-draft visit and after trading away Goedert, Roseman makes another move. While Michael Mayer has been a disappointment for the Raiders, he fits the mold of a player that the Eagles would take a chance on. Similar to when Philadelphia traded for D’Andre Swift during the 2023 NFL Draft, Roseman takes a chance on another former second-round pick that has yet to reach their potential.
