Yesterday, we looked at 10 potential defensive prospects the Eagles should keep an eye on in day 3 of the NFL Draft. Today, it’s time to turn our attention to the offensive side of the ball.
Eagles prospect watch: Day 3, offense
Hollin Pierce, OT, Rutgers
Hollin has the kind of size and frame that Eagles O-line Coach Jeff Stoutland will salivate over. Standing at a gargantuan 6’8 and weighing in around 340 lbs, Pierce is a roadblock. He’s a mauler in every sense of the word and can easily blow up double teams. The Rutgers product is a riser on boards this offseason and he would be a great addition to Stoutland University.
Anthony Belton, OT, NC State
Belton was a Senior Bowl standout and showed off his 6’5, 345 lb frame during his time in Mobile. Anthony has a unique combination of size and athleticism. He swats his hands on defenders knocking them off their stance with ease and uses a shocking burst when they try to use speed to get around the massive OT. Belton is a devastating blocker who uses leverage and momentum to his advantage while also nimble enough to be elite in pass pro.
He discussed having a 30 visit with the Eagles and mentioned his familiarity with Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata’s game. A power run game is a perfect fit for the mauler who finishes off every play with determination and violence.
Jalen Travis, OT, Iowa State
Travis gets out of his stance as fast as any OT in this class. He then uses his length, leverage, and core strength to win pass-pro reps. He performed well at the combine and the Senior Bowl where he showed off his lateral quickness in a rep against Edge Rusher Femi Oladejo.
Jalen is a force in the run game where he seeks and destroys anything in his path. He has experience at both tackle positions and would be an ideal selection for a swing tackle early, and the eventual heir to Lane Johnson. Travis is a player the Eagles have used one of their visits to meet with.
Tate Ratledge, iOL, Georgia
Tate is another Stoutland University prototype. He is a devastating run blocker who identifies pass rushes and quickly and uses power to get to the next level. Ratledge is 6’6, 308 pounds, and fast too! He showed off his speed with a 4.97 forty at the combine.
Tate also has experience going up against Nolan Smith and Jalen Carter in practice during his time with Georgia. This is the experience I want on the Eagles O-Line.
Chase Lundt, OL, UConn
Lundt is an intriguing option with above-average mobility allowing him to stay in front of pass rushers. He has a strong core and anchors well, displaying excellent understanding and technique in pass-pro. His athletic traits will interest many teams later in the draft, including the Eagles. He is a player who will be viewed as having an upside with a high floor.
Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Virginia Tech
Tuten has been one of my favorite RB targets for the Eagles since September. After his performance in Indianapolis, any team that wants him will have more competition for his services than initially thought. Tuten ran the fastest 40 at the combine for a running back at 4.32. and ranked first overall in the RB class with a 40.50-inch vertical jump. His 40-yard dash time was faster than both current Eagles RB Saquon Barkley and Lions’ speedy running back Jahmyr Gibbs. Tuten is a home run threat whenever he touches the ball and is also a valuable special teams player.
Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas
Blue is a reported 5’9, 196 lbs, and an absolute blur when watching his 4.3 speed. He demonstrates elite quickness, bounce, and shiftiness, making it difficult for defenders to get a proper angle to bring him down. His explosive big-play ability would add to an impressive RB room in Philadelphia. Blue is a patient runner with above-average hands and has grit in pass pro. The Eagles have had a top-30 visit with Jaydon which could be Howie leaving behind some Blues Clues as to who he may draft.

Gunnar Helm, Tight End, Texas
Helm has the frame, hands, body control, and above-average route running with the YAC ability that every GM looks for. Gunnar loves watching game films and is never satisfied. Helm is fiercely dedicated to improving. He can thrive in 12 personnel and is one of the best run-blockers in class. He uses his body well to shield and excels in space. Gunnar is a target at TE for the Eagles.
Jake Briningstool, Tight End, Clemson
Jake gets vertical and abuses LB’s and Safety’s over the top. He fights for the ball and wins contested catches. He has shown an above-average burst, good hands, and route-running ability. He also has shown a knack for creating yards after the catch. Briningstool is a solid blocker who will only improve once in the NFL. He performed well at the Senior Bowl versus some of the nation’s top talent.
Terrance Ferguson, Tight End, Oregon
Ferguson improved year over year at college and that should continue in the NFL. He has reliable hands which makes himself an easy target. He will quickly become his QB’s best friend on the field. Terrance is versatile; playing outside or from the slot and is a red-zone threat and has a knack to come up big in big moments. He also does the little things and the dirty work in run blocking and pass-pro making him an intriguing option at Tight End in this year’s draft.
