This is my first 2025 NFL Mock Draft that includes trades, so I dove into the mindset of Eagles GM Howie Roseman and made three of them. Here are the trades that I believe the Eagles could benefit from.

Eagles receive 45 and 80 from Colts for 32 and 129

Eagles receive 50, 92, & 137 from Seattle for 45, 96, & 162

Eagles receive 114 from Arizona for 137 & 165

The Eagles have 20 projected draft picks over the next two seasons and have the flexibility to make as many deals as they see fit to draft the positions they want to fill. Moving up and down the board or trading picks for young cost-controlled players will all be on the table. This is when Howie Roseman is at his best.

Howie Roseman has mentioned that learning from his mistakes after the past Super Bowl win in 2018 would require losing some of the sentimentality and attachment he had to the players who helped the team win it. This season, he has stayed true to his word, the Eagles have already lost 12 of their free agents, including one offensive starter and five on the defensive side. Retooling the team through the draft starts now!

RD2- 50 Mason Taylor, TE, LSU

Mason is a chain mover; he makes receptions from any spot on the line, often creating mismatches. Taylor has a knack for getting open, provides good YAC, wins contested catches and has above average hands. He had a 1.8% drop rate. In the right scheme, he will flourish. Mason showed off a more advanced route tree at Senior Bowl than he did during his time with LSU. He is one of my two favorite tight ends for the Eagles in this draft cycle.

RD2- 64 T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina

Sanders has elite length, which he uses well to eliminate passing lanes. He displays a quick burst, is disruptive, and causes havoc in the backfield. T.J. provided an interior pass rush in college (8.5 in 2 seasons), sheds blocks well, and is a solid tackler with high TFL totals. He is one of my favorite prospects for the Eagles, a very toolsy and high-upside player who would thrive in the Eagles’ defensive scheme

(Other players available iOL Tate Ratledge and DT Joshua Farmer)

RD3- 80 Charles Grant, iOL, William & Mary

Grant is an explosive, strong player with 35+ inch arms. He played 227 pass blocking snaps in 2024 and lost eight snaps. His 96.48% win rate was good for 6th in class at iOL. Charles has a wrestling background, which I LOVE for OLs. He is a fluid, disciplined athlete blessed with vice grips for hands. He did not play for Georgia, but he has the mentality to fit in from day one.“On the field, I’m a dawg.”

(another consideration at 80 for me was Edge Brady Swinson)

RD3- 92- Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas

Andrew thrives going downhill against the run. He is a strong tackler that attacks ball carriers with bad intentions. In his first season with Texas, he showed off great instincts, elite speed, and sticky coverage skills. He was also a YAC killer, which I love. Per sports-reference, he had 7 PBUs, five interceptions, 4 TFLs, and one forced fumble last year. Andrew returned to college to prove he was a complete player, mission accomplished.

“To prove to everybody that I’m the best safety in the Draft.”

He also stated he has met with the Eagles. He would be a great fit in the Fangio defense.

(other players available, Kevin Winston Jr, OT Ozzy Trapilo, and Edge Saivion Jones)

RD- 4 114- Oluwafemi Oladejo, Edge, UCLA

Oladejo is a first-year edge, converted from LB, and the transition went better than anyone could have imagined. He can play for an NFL team in week one with his run stopping and edge setting ability. His closing speed is a cheat code. His motor runs hot and he also displays power! Femi has all of the traits and will only get better as he adds to his pass rushing repertoire. Oladejo gives off Jalyx Hunt vibes, not just because of changing positions, but attitude and size as well. 6’3, 260, and built to be a future star in the league.

(other options included CB Nohl Williams, LB Jeffrey Bassa, and S Billy Bowman)

RD 166- Hollin Pierce-OT, Rutgers

Holln has the size, height, anchor, and hands that Eagles O-lien coach drools over. Standing 6’8 and weighing in around 340, Pierce is a roadblock. He plays with a controlled viciousness and is a mauler and a finisher on every play. Hollin will keep your QBs pockets clean, while blowing up double teams. He had the 3rd longest arms measured, and the 4th widest wingspan. Pierce is a tough, hard worker, and a riser on boards during the draft process! His stock is up, and he would be a great addition to Stoutland University.

(other OT options in this range include Chase Lundt, Ajani Cornelius, Jack Nelson, and Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson)

RD 169- Teddye Buchanan, LB, California

Teddye has great instincts and the speed to move all over the field, sideline to sideline or vertical. He has a natural burst to shoot gaps or close space quickly. Buchanan sheds blocks to attack ball carriers, and gets to QB as well. He totaled five sacks, two forced fumbles, and 114 tackles last year for the Golden Bears. He reportedly met with the Eagles at the combine and would be a great addition to their linebacking room.

(another option I love at LB for the Eagles in this range is Shemar James)

As always, thank you for reading!
